The Position will be in Germany after the training and visa application process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Applications Engineer is responsible for the design confirmation during development of products for our customers. This work may include part design, validation testing, failure analysis (FMEA), customer interfacing and simultaneous engineering with the manufacturing plant (both internal and external). The Applications Engineer is also responsible for assisting the Project Manager in the launch of products into production.
Assist in the design of springs and precision stampings with customer
Evaluate engineering and manufacturing feasibility using Scherdel developed software
Work with Sales department to land new business
Travel to customers for on-site visits
Participate in trade shows and attend relevant conferences

Position Requirements:

Senior, Masters, Alumni, latest graduation date 2022, Majors: All Automotive Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, General Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Automation Engineering
Bilingual in Mandarin and English (verbal/written) required, German language skills preferred
Travel to and trainee phase in Germany/China
