Process Engineering Intern

Bavaria, Germany. We are currently managed by the fourth generation of the founding family with

Position Overview:
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment. The Process Engineering Intern will assist with data entry, support process improvement activities, and help evaluate manufacturing systems under the guidance of experienced engineers. The internship is designed to provide exposure to real-world engineering challenges and cross-functional teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the evaluation of current manufacturing processes through data collection and documentation.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and process documentation.
- Participate in activities that aim to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support sustainability goals.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on testing, validation, and implementation of process changes.
- Work with equipment and systems to understand their function and role in production.

Perform basic data entry and maintain organized records for ongoing projects.

Help communicate with international teams to support technology transfer initiatives.

Support the team in tracking project progress and preparing presentations for leadership.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in manufacturing processes, systems optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize data clearly.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with technical software is a plus.

Willingness to learn, ask questions, and contribute to team goals.

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and following safety protocols.
